ETC Tangram’s activities relate to the Dutch health-care market and focus on health care policy development and institutional development.

ETC Tangram’s core activities are research and advisory services while working in the niche areas such as the design, the coherence and accessibility of the health care system. Tangram holds  an extensive track record in health insurance and public health.

 ETC Tangram's way of work is characterized by:

During the next 5 – year period, ETC Tangram aims to broaden our combined expertise by focusing on:

• Access to health care;
• Pay for Performance / Performance based Financing;
• Strengthening of public health care;
• Integrated Care;
• Policy research of the health care and insurance system.

ETC Crystal is the sister organisation of ETC Tangram that focuses on research and advisory services in international health. This unique collaboration between ETC Tangram and ETC Crystal facilitates the exchange of experiences in health care both in the Netherlands and abroad.
