Local INnovation and EXperimentation: an entry point to Climate-Change Adaptation

LINEX–CCA, a project under the global Prolinnova network, aims to improve the livelihoods of rural communities, especially women, who depend on agriculture and are vulnerable to climate change by using participatory innovation development (PID). Capacities of local organisations are being strengthened to support innovation, experimentation and adaptation to climate change. Evidence will feed into policy dialogues at national and international level, designed to increase recognition of local capacities and initiatives in dealing with climate change. The main pillars of this project are mutual learning and building the capacity of local actors to be better able to deal with climate change in a bottom-up, farmer-led approach. ETC provides management support to the coordinator in Uganda and content backstopping to partners in the 3 countries. For more information, see
