ANNOUNCEMENT

Dissolution of ETC Organization
In March 2015 ETC’s Board of Trustees have decided to end the activities of the organization. Reduced government budgets have led to reduced reserves over the past years. Drastic reorganizations, most recently in 2013, did not lead to an improved prospect. ETC believes that in the current market for development cooperation, a consolidation is unavoidable. Instead of going through another reorganization, ETC concluded that it is better to strengthen other NGO’s by transferring its successful programs to them. We expect that the dissolution process will be finalized in 2017.

Transfer of PROLINNOVA program
ETC’s PROLINNOVA program was transferred to The Royal Tropical Institute / KIT (Amsterdam) as of June 30, 2015. The transfer included its long-term, ongoing projects as well as the associated staff (4 employees).

Transfer of ENERGIA program
ETC’s ENERGIA program was transferred to HIVOS (The Hague) as of March 1, 2016. The transfer included its long-term, ongoing projects as well as the associated staff (5 employees).

Contact
ETC’s office building in Leusden (NL) has been sold. ETC can no longer be contacted by phone and this website will no longer be updated. The dissolution process is led by Mr. Hans Wouters (Acting Managing Director/Chairman Board of Trustees). He is assisted by Mr. Martijn Hartsuiker (Acting Financial Controller).

In case of any questions please email Mr. Martijn Hartsuiker on m.hartsuiker@etcnl.nl

Sincerely yours,

Mr. H.W. Wouters
Acting Managing Director/Chairman Board of Trustees
